Amid ongoing concerns about COVID-19 (Coronavirus), the Islip Housing Authority is closely monitoring the latest reports from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and appropriate health and government agencies. We have taken a number of precautionary measures for the health and safety of our customers and colleagues as our top priority. The Housing Authority will continue to monitor whether opening of the offices to walk in visitors is adviseable, in the interim, the HA offices remain closed to the general public for walk ins.

Although NYS and the CDC have updated guidelines for facial coverings, when appropriate, generally, SOCIAL DISTANCING minimum of 6 feet. You may opt to wear a face mask in public and/or encountering people in public. Your personal safety is a decision you should decide what is best for you. Although no mandates are presently in place by the appropriate government agencies, the HA will continue to monitor and update policies as conditions dictate.
